About Nordlys

Nordlys is an alliance guild on the Scarshield Legion RPPVP server in World of Warcraft. We started as a danish guild, but as of March 2012 we accept non-danes as well.

Players must be 18 or more to join unless they are family or friends of existing members.

Nordlys is a social guild, but with a core of semi-serious raiding members. Any questions about the guild can be asked in-game to Strelkov.

Questions about raiding can be asked in-game to our raid leaders Nuthriel and Nitiga.

Guild Rules

Nordlys has few, easy, rules:

1) Players must 18 or older to join. We accept junior members if these are family to adult members.

2) Absolutely no talk about politics, religion or football is allowed in guild chat or on ventrilo. WoW should be a place to relax and get away from the Real World.

3) Be nice to guildies and behave in groups and around Azeroth.

Raiding

All members are notified about raids through the guild calendar.

Members can apply for Raider rank. To have Raider-rank members must be available for raids or if not able to participate let Raid Leaders know.

You must be able to join ventrillo to raid with Nordlys and you must have a boss mod addon (such as DBM) installed.

Loot Rules

In order to encourage bigger commitment to the joint effort that is raiding we have decided to prioritize Raiders over non-Raiders when it comes to distrubuting loot.

In all it's simplicity, this means that a loot roll made by a Raider will always win over one made by a non-raider, regardless of value and main/off-spec.
